Inspired by my obsession with spotting a mermaid just under the surface of the waves, this collection just makes my heart race. I haven’t found her yet, but this is exactly how I imagine the waters would look before the sea would reveal her shimmering tail and long hair. The surface would glimmer with a magical gold glow.
 
This piece is 12’x12” with 3” deep sides. The deep-edged canvas is painted with acrylic paint and gold leaf then placed into an acrylic box frame. This unique size is just stunning placed on a shelf, mantel, or desktop
